Testimonials

Joe, This is a note of appreciation for the stainless steel liner installation in our chimney on November 14. Initially Sandra and I were a bit disappointed that day as the 5.5 inch liner would not fit inside the 6 inch clay flue, although your employees Pat and Paul tried valiantly for about an hour to install the 5.5 inch liner. Then they installed the 5 inch liner, apparently without difficulty.

We have experienced over two weeks of daily woodstove operation since the job was completed. We both believe that the stove is functioning efficiently, that we have a good draft. In fact, we suspect that the stove is burning more efficiently than before - but how can that be as we now have a 5 inch flue instead of a 6 inch flue? We also believe that since the installation there is less smoke darkening of the window glass in the front doors of our Jotul woodstove. That's a nice plus as it means less frequent glass cleaning during the heating season.

We also appreciate that Paul and Pat reset the woodstove on the hearth about four inches closer to the back. That position is a better location. And it better meets code requirement.

Joe, thank you for coming to our home over a month ago to scope out the work and provide a cost estimate to us. We are pleased with the installation. God bless!
