Northeastern Masonry & Chimney Provides World Class Chimney Services To Guilderland

Guilderland is known for world-class education, health care, research, commerce and culture. Northeastern Masonry & Chimney is known for world-class service, chimney maintenance, repairs and restoration. We are proud to offer residents of Guilderland these services:

According to the Chimney Safety Institute of America, homeowners need to have a professional chimney cleaning and inspection done once a year to avoid the fire risks that exist when your chimney is blocked from built-up soot, creosote or nesting animals. Soot and creosote are highly combustible and must be removed by a skilled chimney professional. Another hazard exists with carbon monoxide poisoning when there are cracks and leaks that allow the toxic gases from your wood- and fuel-burning appliances to seep into your house instead of being routed outside.

In addition to fireplace and chimney cleaning, Northeastern is well respected for our masonry work and restoration. If your fireplace is historic, we also have the expertise to repair and improve the functionality of it while maintaining its historic integrity.

The Northeastern Advantage

Our technicians are certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America and the National Fireplace Institute. We also participate in continuing education programs to stay up to date on the state-of-the-art techniques and equipment in our industry. Quality results and courteous service are, and have been, the foundation of our business since 1993. Our customer’s feedback on Google and Angie’s List let us know we are delivering as promised.

The Capital District Links History & Progress

The town of Guilderland was founded in 1803. The history of Guilderland has progressed from an unsuccessful glass plant to an agriculture center linked to its neighbors by the railroad.

Built in Guilderland during the 1840s, the John Schoolcraft House is known architecturally as a striking example of the Gothic Revival style. From an economic perspective, the building of the house represented prosperity and progress. The property around the house has seen many changes over the years including the growth from farmers passing by to the four lane highways of today.

Guilderland is in Albany County and therefore is poised to be able to participate in all the Capital District has to offer when working or playing. The four counties in Upstate New York which comprise the Capital District are Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga Counties. The Capital District is an area rich in history, culture and commerce. Many large corporations were formed here including General Electric, American Express and International Paper. Recent initiatives to attract both businesses and consumers to the downtown area have motivated a revitalization of the downtown areas.
